    Hungry Chicken and Dumplings

    Advertisements
    I'm a genius

2 cans cream of chicken with herbs soup (you can use the regular, but the herbs one adds flavor)
    1 can chicken broth
2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
    Salt, pepper, parsley
    1 can biscuits, original
    baking potatoes (about 3-4, optional)

Cut the potatoes into cubes. I put the soup, broth, potatoes and chicken breasts in the pot (still frozen chicken! SOOO easy), sprinkled salt, pepper and parsley (eyeball it )

Cook on high for 3 hours
Then, take the biscuits (try not to jump when the can pops open ), rip them into pieces and roll them into balls. Drop them in the crockpot. Make sure you push them down, so the top gets covered too. Cook for another 1 hr and 30 minutes give or take.

I can't wait to eat it, it smells so yummy.

I make a version kind of like this, except I cook the frozen chicken + broth, seasonings (fresh ground pepper, garlic salt, celery flakes), chopped carrots, and onions first for about 5 hours on low. Sometimes I'll add about 1/2 cup white wine too. Then I add the cream of chicken soup and peas, let heat through about 30 minutes, then add the biscuits (torn into about 6 pieces each). DH and I LOVVVVVE it.
