    I'm so excited, it's probably ridiculous. I'm a newbie cook and it is so much fun!

    That looks kind of bland. Maybe add some more spices?

    If you find you don't like it, you can add spices next time, but I usually make pot roast similar to that. I mix beef bouillon with water, and then chop up an onion and put it in there. I don't use any other spices, and I think it's tasty.

    Plus, her hot dog and mac&cheese eating boyfriend probably likes it bland.

    It will for sure be more flavorful than hot dogs and mac and cheese. Really it should make its own gravy, so if it doesn't taste quite right when it should be done, you can throw some seasoning in that real quick to jazz it up. And always look at the reviews, they are super helpful.

    exactly!! I added a little salt and pepper to the top of it, and a tiny bit of garlic powder. It smells incredible.

    I put it in everything possible. It is good for the heart. We probably have terrible breath all the time

    OMG that was delicious! No picture, because it pretty much just looked like a pot roast

    But, WOW good. It was the garlic powder and salt and pepper that made it amazing!
