    crockpot pot roast

    Advertisements
besides the point of sharing this, I wonder if anyone thinks this pot roast might not be a good idea to put veggies in with. ( what with the ranch dressing, Italian dressing, and brown gravy all going into it. )
regardless, I want to try the pot roast.

    Ingredients:

    Servings:
    8 8 8Servings Size

    • 1 beef roast, any kind
    • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package brown gravy mix, dry
    • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package dried Italian salad dressing mix
    • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package ranch dressing mix, dry
    • 1/2 cup water

    it's got over 1200 ratings, and it's a 4.5. (recipezaar)

Anyone think the dry mixes together might not be a good idea? What about putting veggies in there w/ some potatoes?

I use this for the crock pot: French's Roast 'N Bag-Pot Roast and it is always the best roast I have ever had.

    Wow! That is different.

I usually do cream of mushroom soup and dry onion soup mix then put in pots and carrots.

I may want to try this.
