Crock Pot Lasagna ----Mmmmmmm!
Ingredients
2 lbs Ground Beef 1 1/2 36oz Jars Prego or Ragu Chunky Garden Sauce 2 lrg tubs Cottage Cheese 4 cups mozzarella cheese 1 pkg Lasagna noodles 1 tbsp oregano Salt, pepper, garlic to your taste Directions Brown all of the ground beef, seasoning with garlic salt and pepper to taste. Set aside. In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese, oregano and 3 cups of the mozzarella cheese---mixing well. Grease crock pot with Pam or other non-stick spray. Begin layering crock pot as follows----first pour enough sauce in crock pot to cover the bottom; then lay down noodles, breaking as necessary to fit crock pot contours. Next layer should be your cheese mixture, spreading evenly just to cover noodles; then spread a layer of the ground beef over the cheese. Repeat layering process again and again until ingredients are gone, then top with remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Cook on medium temp in crock pot for 6-8 hours, or until cheese is completely melted and golden. The end result is an absolutely delicious lasagna that tastes just like my Italian grandmother's lasagna, and it's so easy it's almost sinful! People will ask for your recipe, trust me! ![]() This recipe will feed a family of 4 for a couple of days! You can cut the recipe in half if you prefer to make a smaller batch
