I don't use my crock pot as much as I'd like to, and as much as I think I should! So far I've made a pot roast, beef stew, and macaroni and cheese. All of these recipes were great, but I want some more!!!
Please post your FAVORITE crock pot recipe(s) for me! TIA

2 tablespoons butter 4 cups evaporated milk 6 cups (24 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese *I used cojack because DB loves it* 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper In large mixing bowl, toss macaroni with butter. Stir in evaporated milk, cheese, salt and pepper. Place in a 4 to 7 quart crock pot. Cover. Cook on high for 2 to 3 hours. *Note: I would cut this in half for just the two of us* DB loved it though, he was eating leftovers of it for days! |

I love my roast in a crock pot -
1 roast 2 packets of no sodium beef boullion (or you can use 1 packet of beefy onion soup if sodium isn't a thing for you) 1 can of cream of mushroom soup veggies of your choice (I do potatoes, onions and carrots) Throw it all in and cook it all day. Yummo!!

Some super-easy ones for the crockpot:
CHICKEN Take a bag of frozen chicken parts and stack them (frozen) in the crockpot. Pour about 1/4 cup water over the pieces, sprinkle everything with seasoned salt, and cook on low for 6-8 hours. You can serve them as cooked pieces, or you can chunk the cooked chicken into any recipe calling for cooked chicken. PORK OR BEEF ROAST Remove excess fat from a port or beef roast. In a skillet or large pot, brown up a pork or beef roast in a little oil. In the bottom of the crockpot, lay one sliced-up onion and put the browned roast on top. Sprinkle the top with onion powder, chili powder, red pepper (ground or flaked), garlic powder, and a little cumin. Pour 1/2 cup cider vinegar over the roast and cook on low for 6-8 hours. When it's done, scrape off any large hunks of fat and remove any bone pieces (mostly in the pork roast). Shred the meat between two forks and add 1/2 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce.

I've started it in the evening and let it cook all night long, and then we've taken it to work for potluck breakfasts.
