I just used mine the other day to make pot roast. It was the first time I ever used it... If you have any great recipes I would LOVE to have them!

I got a pheasant from the neighbor. I took care of her horses for the weekend, and it was my payment.

I hope to have the whole thing devoured before DH comes home.

i do stew: 3-4 jars of gravy, about 1 lb of stew meat, 1 sweet potato, 1 regular potato, a bunch of carrots and worchestershire sauce, onion and garlic powder and a few shakes of tabasco.

i do spaghetti sauce: 1 lb of ground beef or turkey (turkey doesn't work as well going in uncooked so cook drain that first), 2 jars of spaghetti sauce, 4 italian sausages, a little bit red wine, garlic and onion powder, oregano, italian seasoning, and that sort of thing just to taste.

pepper steak: 1 lb stew meat, 1-2 green peppers, 2-3 jars of gravy, and the same seasonings as above on the stew.

chicken caccitore: sear the chicken in a pot/pan until it's nice and brown. put chicken, 2 jars of spaghetti sauce, 1 whole onion cut up, onion and garlic powder, a little red wine, and the same seasonings as in spaghetti sauce
