Spray the inside with cooking spray or rub in some cooking oil and it's sooooo much easier to clean

I do that all the time, it works wonders, though I just use spray not oil oil..

i usually get gravy or spaghetti sauce that gets crusted inside and it doesn't come out in the dishwasher so we end up doing a couple washes for it.

OR if you forget and something sticks, throw a used dryer sheet in the crockpot, add water, let soak for a while. The stuff will come off. ESPECIALLY useful with BBQ sauce.
