    Crock pot lasagna

    8 lasagna noodles, uncooked
    1 lb ground beef
    1 tsp italian seasoning
    28 oz jar spaghetti sauce
    1/3 c water
    4 oz can sliced mushrooms
    15 oz ricotta cheese
    2 c shredded mozzarella cheese

    1. Break noodles in half. Place half in bottom of greased slow cooker
    2. Brown ground beef in saucepan. Drain. Stir in italian seasoning. Spread half over layer of noodles in slow cooker.
    3. Layer half of the sauce and water, half of the mushrooms, half of ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese over beef. Repeat layers.
    4. Cover. Cook on Low for 5 hours.

    Ooohh...have you actually made this? Did the noodles come out crunchy around the edges like regular lasagna?

    It sounds so yummy!

    My husband LOVES lasagna...and I've been lazy to make it lately since it's usually so labor intensive...I may have to make this for his first night back home

    YW! DH loves lasagna and spaghetti so this was an easy compromise. I love making it for company too.

    I think I might actually give this one a try also. It would be a good easy meal to make while I'm recooping from my surgery. My kids LOVE lasagna!
