Crock Pot Mac'n'cheese

1 lb macaroni 1 lb grated sharp cheddar cheese 1/2 cup butter 2 eggs 1(12ounce)can evaporated milk 1 1/2 cups milk salt and pepper 1 Cook macaroni, drain, and put in crock pot. 2 add cheese except 1 cup and add butter. 3 mix well. 4 beat eggs and add milk salt and pepper. 5 mix well. 6 spread remaining 1 cup of cheese over top 7 Cook on low for 3 hours.

This is very similar to my stove top reciepe....I just don't use the butter.
Might have to try it sometimes.

I made this one and DB (seriously could be the pickiest eater I know!) LOVED it!!
6 cups cooked elbow macaroni 2 tablespoons butter 4 cups evaporated milk 6 cups (24 ounces) Cheddar cheese, shredded (I used co-jack) 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1. In large mixing bowl, toss macaroni with butter. Stir in evaporated milk, cheese, salt and pepper. Put in 4 to 7 quart Crock Pot. 2. Cover; cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours. |
