Chili Verde
This isn't a standard recipe, just how I've always done it without directions. This recipe is really simple, but tastes excellent!
I usually buy a big pork shoulder from Costco, or any pork will do...the tenderloin works well. Cut it into slices and layer in the crock pot. Add 2 jars of the La Victoria verde sauce, 2-3 small cans of diced green chiles, salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. If I have a lot of pork, I make sure to season each layer. If you want it hotter, add peppers of your choosing. I usually cook on high for a few hours and then turn to low until we're ready to eat. Prior to serving, take each piece out and shred it then return it all back into the pot. Wrap it up in a burrito and enjoy.
