    Coffee makers?

    Advertisements
What brands/models of coffee makers have you been happiest with? We've had 2 crummy coffee makers over the past few yrs...one broke after a few months and the other was so complicated (you had to "pre-heat" the darn thing 20 min prior?!)

We'd like something fairly simple (can't think unless I've had coffee) and something NOT too crazy expensive (although we lust over the fancy expresso machines in Sur la Table!)

Keurig!! Single serve coffe/tea/hot chocolate maker. It is simply awesome. Brews a perfect sup of coffee in about One minute. Then right after you can brew tea or anything else. Even just hot water. Only about 99 dollars for the cheapest personal one.

I personally don't like the Keurigs. They are pricey, the refills are pricey, and purchasing your own filter and using your own coffee is messy.

I have a Hamilton Beach model that has survived two moves, one across a continent in the back of my truck, and it is solid. The reservoir is on top the unit and the coffee is dispensed like a soda machine. Easy to clean, just use white vinegar, and I only have to buy filters and my favorite coffee.

Regular coffee maker and not an espresso machine? There are some good espresso machines out there that won't break the bank.

I noticed that, but it must've been bumped or something. That's ok though, I still need advice lol.
