Energy drinks? - Consumer Review

Have any of you ever tried the 5 hour energy shots? If you have, does it work?
Or if you've had any kind of energy drinks, Which ones?

I've never tried the 5 hour energy drinks so I'm curious as to what people say about them too!

I do drink Red Bull, Monster, Amp, and Enviga though.

Most people that I know that drink 5HE say it was better than regular ED's I however don't use any at all at this present time. I just drink Starbucks with an extra shot of espresso

The 5 hour energy shots work ok for me, but if I actually want a drink-drink, I'll get an Amp. I used to think all energy drinks were nasty but Chris got me hooked on Amps hahaha =)

Im asking b/c Ds is still up and its 2 am and I have to get up at 6:30 am to watch some kiddos and I know im gonna be tired!!! Thanks for the info, Are they nasty though, b/c ive never had any kind of energy drinks and im kinda scared!

I like the Rock Star guava. I think they taste the best. Anything with fruit juice really...

Amp tastes just like Mt. Dew, I don't know if you like that or not though =)

Do you like crash on them after a little bit or does it last a while?

I've never noticed a crash before, but I know everyone's body reacts differently to caffeine

DH likes the 5 hr energy drinks if he knows he only has 5 hrs till he can rest. He uses them to get us that "last push" on a driving trip. Otherwise, his drink of choice is Monster.

I took no-doz on a road trip once and ended up pulling over every 5 minutes to throw up and had to call 911 and spend the night in some random town in a hospital so I refuse to try anything like that EVER again. I'll drink an Amp if I know I can rest in the next 2 hours but nothing more than one Amp -- ever.

I'm a wimp.
