Chicken Tenders/Nuggets - Consumer Review

Which brand/type do you normally buy if you buy them? Why do you buy that particular kind (nutrition/dietary reasons, cost, etc)?

I usually buy Tyson. The price isn't the cheapest in the store, but I like the taste over other generic brands.

If I buy chicken nuggets at the grocery store, I usually buy whichever has the best unit price. I've bought Banquet, Tyson, and sometimes Morning Star. Otherwise, I usually make my own with the fresh chicken.

I'd have to say, that making your own is the best. They taste much better than any frozen thing. We usually make ours with Shake N Bake. Comes out pretty tasty.

Lately we have been hooked to the Mickey Mouse ones at Costco. Not because they are Mickey, but because they are breaded with wheat bread-- SO delicious!

I like making them best.

We buy Riley the dinosaur shaped ones, only because it was suggested by his OT to keep him trying new foods/shapes/colors/etc. If I had it my way, I would only buy the ones at Costco... I think they are called like Naked Nuggets or something. They are gluten free, all natural and grilled so none of those nasty fats.

Oooh! I'll have to check if ours has those! That would be a great new flavor/texture for him to try, but still in a fun shape.

We laugh because no one in my house is under 18.

But, they just have the best flavor!

I like the idea of new shapes of foods for kids. I'm going to write that down so I remember it someday for my little munchkins!
