SO excited! - Command Leaders

Hiii all!!

I just got some awesome news, and wanted to share it with SOMEBODY... ANYBODY! Who better than those who can relate?

I've been trying to get involved with something on post here, and decided to ask my husband to ask his LT about the FRG here. They're trying to get one started, and since we knew she was in charge of it, my husband decided to ask her if she needed any help with it.

When he asked her tonight, her response was "OH MY GOD, I LOVE YOU. I am in charge of it, but since I'm not a spouse, I've been looking for someone to be FRG LEADER. Tell your wife to be here at 0900 hours on Sunday because I have a mission for her. We're trying to get spouses involved in our FRG, and I need her to plan a Christmas party."

AHHH, I'm SO excited!!! I was expecting maybe a "yeah, okay, I need her to type some stuff up for an hour every other week"... I was NOT, on the other hand, expecting FRG LEADER.

Okay, I'm probably wayyyy over-excited, but.... I don't care! I'm excited, I'm excited, I'm excited. Now I can finally get out on my own here!!!

Ok, the "0900 hours" part made me laugh. It just sounds funny to me.

But YAAAAYYY for being able to get involved! I'm happy that you're excited about it!

Hilary! Haha, I know you from MIG! I was SUPER excited too when Brian's CPT asked me to be FRG leader too!!!!
