who is part of the FRG Board

I was wondering I am a new FRG president and am in the middle of trying to find chairpersons. I have a fundraising chair a homecoming chair and a welcome chair so far. I was just wondering who is considered part of the board. I guess our last president had it so all of the chairs of each committe were on the board but at other commands I have been with it is just the Pres, vp, treas, and sec.
I want to know what other people on here have done and if you know the actual rules. Our fundraising chair wants to be on the board because she does have a big part in everything that we do and she knew the old president who had all the chairs on the board.
I would think I would have to either put all of my chairs on the board or none of them so not to hurt anyone feelings. I know I could go to the higher ups and ask but I just wanted to kind of get a feel for what you all do.

When you write your bylaws you can decide how you want your boards to go. Ours is made up of the Pres. VP Sec.Treas. are the exective board members. The the committee leaders are just board members. You can decide those things when you write your bylaws.

I'm the new treasurer and I was the fundraising chairperson this past year. We did have board meetings that had the executive board and the committee chairs. After the committee's were done giving their reports the executive board would have their meeting to discuss how things were going.

This is basically how our board works. We have our Board meetings and then before our meetings we will meet with our committee leaders.

My command is losing our FRG president because her hubby is leaving the command. So, someone decided just to get rid of the FRG. We have two Ombudsman's who I am wondering if we will even hear from this deployment.
