It's a volunteer position to be the command liasion to the family. It's basically who the family is supposed to call if they need assistance or need to know something.

You know, I'm not sure! Probably not. I know I get a reserved spot for homecoming, but I think that's it. I'd feel like a dork using that spot at the commy anyway.

That's Awesome! I want to do something like that after DF and I are married. If I am "joining him" per say in the Navy lifestyle I want to jump in feet first and learn as much as I can!! Congratulations!
