    Help Opinions Ladies!

    Advertisements
Hey everyone for those who don't know i am beginning my Event and Wedding Planning Business. I have a question. I was thinking because i've recieved such generous discounts and offers for being a spouse of an active duty service member and i wanted to give back. What do you guys think of offering clients discounts on my planning services if they are active duty or retired. For example if a couple comes in for wedding consultant and the groom is active army do you think it would be nice to offer them a discount. And since different packages cost different prices. What ranges of discount should i offer on the package? Any opinions appreiciated!

I think there need to be more wedding vendors that need to give discounts and be more understanding to military (ie, if needs to be cancelled a couple weeks before because of deployment or something).

%10 to %15 percent sounds good. I too am a Event and Wedding Coordinator/Assistant and somewhere between 10 and 15 sounds good

I may be biased, but I think you should also offer discounts to Reservists and National Guardsmen. 10% is usually the "standard" military discount for places around here that offer them.
