Babysitter for hire (San Diego...Escondido area to Murphy Canyon) - Classifieds

Hi Ladies,
Since Dh is getting out in the next year, we are trying to save up a little extra so we can afford to have him in school for 6 months with just a part time job, so I am looking into babysitting on the weekends and some evenings. Ideal times would be from approximately 9am to 3pm on Sautrdays, although my hours are pretty flexible. I can also sit in the evenings from 6pm-10pm on the weeknights and 6pm-? on Fridays and Saturdays. I have approximately 5 years of experience and excellent references from working at the Angleton United Methodist Church Nursery and have worked with infants up to 10 years old.

Well, if we ever want someone to watch her one night for some free time, i would definetely trust her w/ you so we'll keep you in mind

The way my kids are acting up right now I don't know if anyone could even handle them.... They have been horrible since DH left for deployment.

If I can get them to calm down though. I would most definately use you. That way I could get some shopping done alone or just be alone.... lol

Melissa, I was thinking, come June if you are still needing the extra money, I'd like to get a part-time job for nights.

So when Phil has duty or is underway for a few days, would you want to watch her then? I would think you would only need to watch her maybe 3 or 4x's out of the month. Probably even less.

That would help a great deal. I wanted to start working, but full-time is out of question since I dont want her at a daycare all day, but I didn't know how I'd work at night if he was gone at times.

I so wish you were close to me. We had a really good high school aged sitter who's the daughter of a CDC provider that lives next door to us. I TOTALLY trusted her plus her mom was right next door if she needed anything. Jaxon LOVED her and she absolutely adores children. But school started and since she's in high school, she is always busy. She's the school president also, so she has little free time. That leaves us with NO trusted baby sitter at all

So depressing. It would be so nice to have someone like you around to help when we want to go out for a couple hours to grab coffee or see a movie together.
