    Sitter

    Advertisements
I think this is the right place to post this.

I have just decided to stop looking for a job outside of our home so that I can stay home with our son who is 13 months old.

I will be baby sitting at our home as something to keep me busy that I like to do and also to bring in some money.

I live in VA Beach VA close to the Lynnhaven area.

I dont know if I will get many of you to answer to this even if you are looking for a sitter. I guess it is strange to have someone that posted a add online to watch your child when you dont know them. I will be happy to meet up with you so you can get to know me before you drop your child off at my house :-)

    Thanks.

remember that if you take care of children with out a license you run the risk of lawsuits and trouble.

you need to make sure your landlord ( if you rent) will allow you to care for children in thier unit- since they can be held liable for any injury to a child on thier property, they have the right to refuse.

if you are a homeowner and have homeowners insurance understand that they will not cover you in case of injury or lawsuits.
you will not have any coverage in cases of suspected neglect or abuse.

if you care for children with out having your CPR/first aid up to date you can be held neglegent if something happens.

you still want to do care with out license= make sure you have an iron clad contract to protect you in case somethnig happens.
