Car sold! - Celebrations

After we got my new car for Christmas, we drove my old one back to my parents house. My step-dad's brother kept trying to hassle me down to $1,000, but I said no, because we JUST had put brand new, $700 tires on it a couple of months ago. Kinda high miles, but other than suspension (old/creaky), the car was great.

First person that came to look at it today bought it for $1,500. I can pay off my credit card!

I made about $50 profit.

Just glad it's gone.

Oh yes. I loved that car. I got good road trips and lots of good years on it (about 4.5!). It was paid off in 2. It's just NOW began giving me any real trouble. So, as it leaves, I'm sad to see it go- but relieved it's gone, since I couldn't drive it anymore.

It was also the first thing I ever bought for myself, out-right.
