I got... A SNOW DAY! (pictures)
DH had a 2 hour delay this morning. And when I called my school's cancelation line, they said all classes before noon were canceled. My last class is over at 12:05. No school for me.
![]() And I'm also very excited because DH's delay meant he didn't have to get out of bed and he could cuddle instead. ![]() Though he did come home and call me a loser because I let him leave the house without shaving. Don't you think after 2 years in the Army, you'd remember to shave? What did you do before me? ![]() My husband built a snowman on top of the bbq.![]() ![]() It's actually not that bad down here. But school is another couple 100 ft higher in elevation.

I just talked to my BIL... they're at Peterson. I guess they had a two hour delay on base. That's all the snow that y'all got?

I love snow days. If we get any accumulation at all, the region shuts down (we're just not prepared for it). It's great- all the kids, PLUS my husband and myself because we're teachers, crowding around the TV: "Please let it snow! Please let it snow!"
I'm from Chicago, he's from Montana, so the snow itself isn't a hassle to us, but here in Hampton Roads we're just not prepared for it, so everything pretty much shuts down, people stay home from school/work, and we play!

It seems soooo early for snow! We get snow here and it lasts forever. People tell me Colorado gets alot of snow but it melts fast.
I guess I better get used to it, we will be at Buckley in February!!!
