another care package questions

How many of you send tobacco products in care packages??? DH wants me to send him DIP and Ciggs, but Im afraid it will get inspected?

Is the risk to high to send it?

sent them to dh they went through just fine i wouldnt worry about it...a tip for shipping them put them in like a throwaway tupperware container and buy the hardpacks just to make sure they dont get messed up!

Yeah someone told me to put the logs of dip in pringles cans...

funny you asked that, i'm just getting ready to send some out to db next week......so i need to put the cans in some type of other container?? What's the best way to package it if it's going in a box with other stuff?

did you write anything different on the customs slip or just put "tobacco" or something like that?

I sent my boyfriend cigars. I wrote cigars on the customs form and put them in a plastic bag. They were in individual metal canister things though. I had no trouble at all sending them and he had no trouble receiving them.

I've sent cigarettes and dip. I just stick them in the box with everything else. I don't always put everything I'm sending on the customs form. It never gets checked anyway.

My husband doesn't smoke or dip so I never sent any
