nothing flamable. I usually try and avoid sending anything chocolate, because it will be melted before he even gets his box. they will ask you at the Post office, do you have anything perishable or flamable in the box. so i never sent him cologne or areosol cans.

Your chocolate melted?? I sent chocolate just last week! Wow. Well, the postal woman asked me if anything was perishable and I showed her the chocolates-they were individually wrapped Ghiridelli squares and she told me that was ok because it won't perish before he gets it-basically it has a shelf life. Then again, Afghanistan isn't desert hot, so that might be why mine didn't melt.

Yeah, good point
The only things I don't send are flamables and liquids. Pretty much anything else I'll throw in there though

I sent tootsie rolls the last time and DB said they were a disaster
So I don't send anything but hard candy ...he doesn't really care for sweet stuff so I send slim jims and chips (like pringles) and peanuts. They also gave me a hard time at the post office about sending anything that was "anti-bacterial"??? |
