care packages
ok my husband is in basci training, now i have a question i send him phone cards, letters, and pictures, now if i wanted to send him a care package what would you send, i know your not aloud food, smell goods, what the heck else is there lol just a question anyone got an answer lol

It's best to just keep it to pictures and letters, etc. they have access to a shoppette/px to get what they need, so it's pointless to send care packages to basic because it usually gets confiscated if it's anything other than foot powder and deoderant type things

I sent my wife arch supports for her boots when she went thorugh Navy basic training and that was about it, other then letters and cards.

I just stuck with letters... but then again we werent even dating at the time and only talked ocassionally lol

i just sent letters pictures and cards. about a week or two after he left though i mailed him his wedding band cause i wanted to have it engraved while he was gone. he had to open the package in front of someone so they could take it away right away if nessecary.
