    Help sleepy/relaxation carepackage

    Advertisements
    hey all,

Ok so i want to send the DB a sleep time slash relaxation care package but I'm having a hard time coming up with things to put in that aren't to girly. Any ideas? i have found some online that are basically hot chocolate in a box but he doesn't like chocolate.

He's a runner and I recently sent him one that had a running theme around the edges it said "you must be tired because you've been running through my mind"
and in it was a new Nike running shirt water bottle some of the GU packs some honey stinger waffles some shoe deodorizer balls (with smiley faces on them of course) a foot massage ball some wet wipes and some Lysol wipes febreze and this running stuff that looks like deodorant but isn't lol the guy at the running store said its for chaffing so i got a sample size

What about tea? I just sent DH a box filled with all different kinds of teas and things you can add to tea, plus a mug. That will only really work if he likes tea though .

Pillowcase and/or sheets! I sent DH super soft sheets that I had washed with our fabric softener/detergent so they smelled like home. That was his favorite thing the whole deployment. I sent a pillow too but it ended up needing to be a huge box so I don't necessarily recommend that

How about a bottle of melatonin? Or valerian? DB likes melatonin when he can't get to sleep. You could make a little dream pillow. Does he use a sleep mask? Does he have space for a white noise machine? There are lots of things that can make you sleep better that are gender neutral when you think about it. Slippers, pajamas or a tee shirt, nice sheets, chamomile tea with honey...

I'm going to say maybe a sound cd of thunderstorms or rain? Not meaning to hijack Trevor's suggestion.

DH: Thank you. ME: For what, babe? DH: For being you.
