Prepping May Carepackage: Cinco de Mayo

    Advertisements
So I plan on including margarita and pina colada flavored jelly beans, maybe cakes in jars with a tub of icing and spinkles (he doesn't have a sweet tooth but he bunks with 3 others that I'm sure he'll share with), some decorations, and hot sauces.

Anyone have any other ideas of things to add?

What a cute idea! Anything Mexican, chips and salsa is the first thing that comes to mind.

I thought chips wouldn't ship well. I was going to include salsa and just pray he could get chips or figure he'll start tossing it on anything he's eating. I'm also getting Taco Bell hot sauces for him

I think El Paso sells "tortilla stuffers" which are seasoned meats in packets like tuna comes in. You can send those, tortillas and Tostitos nacho cheese dip.

And Pringles now makes tortilla chips, so you can send them in a can!

I've sent chips before with no problems just make sure there isn't extra room in the box for stuff to shift around.

I just saw an advertisement of tortilla chips made by Pringles that come in a can. Not sure if they are out yet or available everywhere, but they might be an option.
