    Christmas Care Packages

    Advertisements
    Hey Everyone:

I'm currently putting the finishing touches on the Thanksgiving package but I'm starting to think about Christmas. Does anyone know if we can/should wrap gifts we'll be putting in a care package?

    Thanks

I wrapped DFs presents when he was over seas. I also put battery operated lights and a mini tree inside of it. He loved it though.

I'm going to put his gift in a wrapped box. No one ever said that we couldn't, right?

I've just read sometimes having wrapped gifts in a care package can delay it b/c the postal office doesn't like it.... I guess the scanners don't like all the pretty wrapping.

I wrapped all of DH's individually inside the box before I sealed it up.

Ok but what kinds of gifts to send??? There's only so much they can use out there...I'm sending DF a new pair of Oakley's (cuz he lost the last pair I sent!) and an iPod because he lost that too. Any other ideas or anyone want to share what they will be sending?

I've wrapped the gifts, the inside of the box and the outside of the box! just make sure the bar code for the flat rate box shows through the bottom (cut out the paper around it)

I got DH a solar power charger and a lipstick charger for Christmas so far. Those would go with the iPod you're getting you're getting your guy.

I've never heard of a lipstick charger...whats that?

I'm sending DB a few sweaters for the colder months, a book of mind bender games, and some sweets. However, I'm low on ideas so any advice on what else to send would be great. He's in a small apartment so kitchen stuff is out, even though he really needs somethings.

I'm sending my guy a box full of Christmas goodies like mini stockings with candy canes and hot chocolate stuffed inside. I also included some battery operated lights and a little Christmas tree to decorate his room, and a small decorated box full of Hershey "kisses" since I can't be with him to give him a new year's kiss this year. Just some ideas. I think anything you send him he will love!
