    Care... Envelopes?

    Advertisements
    Hi everyone!

I've been browsing around looking at everyone's packages getting ideas for my own during this deployment. I thought I'd share what I ended up doing for my DB. I wanted to give him something when he left so I put together a month's worth of envelopes for him. He'll be opening one everyday as a way to keep his spirits up and have something to look forward to during the tough transition time. He seems to be super excited about having them so all of my planning worked out! Here's a list of some of the things I included:

    • Letter (for the first day)
    • A small book with pictures of us (thanks, Snapfish)
    • Candy
    • Playing cards from TheChive
    • A bunch of different cards from someecards.com
    • A keychain with the latitude/longitude of our apartment
    • A USB with videos, pictures, comedy CDs
    • A small vial of my perfume
    • MORE candy!
    • A bunch of bad jokes

It'll be just as much fun for me waiting to hear how he liked the envelope each day as it is for him to open them. Trying to look on the bright side of all of this!

Very cool! I do care envelopes, too. They are cheaper and easier to ship which means you can send them more frequently. Good call!
