    You can use whatever size you want, just measure appropriately.

    It shouldn't matter what size, as long as you only fill it 1/2 full as directed.

    yep, this. filling them a little over halfway has always gotten them to be where i like them to be, any less leaves a lot of room and condenstation, any more it overflows. i really wanted to get the smaller jars so i could make "cupcakes" for dh, but i couldnt find any stores that sold them and i was too impatient to wait for them to be delivered from online.

    I would never try them again.
    i made some, and thought I had everything done right. But the cake was rancid by the time it got to dh
