    Calendar
    Can of Black-eyed-peas
    New years eve decorations
Maybe a bottle of sparkling grape juice.

Then I would fill it with normal stuff that I send him.

Maybe a bunch of stuff you'd have at a party? Lots of sparkly things and snacks!

Black eyed peas are traditionally eaten to bring in luck for the New Year.

You know what my favorite part about the year ending is though? All those "Best of 2012" lists that start coming out. For some reason I get a huge kick out of them ... I bet if you made a "AZLoveBug88 & SO: The Year in Review" type list that he would really love it. Go back through your calendar, FB, etc. and find some milestones you guys went through and it'll bring some wonderful memories for him.

I'm putting in a Happy New Years crown for him, some candies, a nice card.. Also, a lipstick kiss on the card so he can have a new years kiss (cheesy I know haha). Just cute and funny things for him. I think he'll be a bit bummed out from not being home for Christmas, so I'm thinking it will cheer him up
