    Homemade advent calender ideas

    Advertisements
I am making DB an advent calender so far i have bought a tea towel thats red and has keep calm and be merry on with reindears and stuff, then ive bought four other tea towels that are all different red and white patterns on which i am going to sow on to make little pockets on the advent calender to put stuff in. Does anyone have any ideas of things to put in the pockets please? i have thought of sweets that wont melt or anything and i think i'll put notes and photos in some but any other ideas? they would have to be quite small to fit in.

Miniature deck of cards, gift cards, "coupons" (good for one kiss, good for one night of movie of your choice, etc), fast food gift certificates, key chains, . . . will keep thinking.

I just made an advent calendar for DB and had to keep it light and small too cause of shipping so I know what you mean haha. How about little bags of drink mix? Depends on what he likes but I sent DB some of his fav chai latte mix and some hot chocolate with marshmallows which I know he loves.

Since they are tea towels you could put different flavors of tea bags in some of the pockets. That might be fun.
