need ideas! - Care Packages

my friend pointed out that Ben being gone could be a blessing in disguise. More time for studying, more sleep, more time to hang out with friends (i played tennis for like 2 hours last night!!) etc.

and another point she made was that I can send him little "care packages"
i thought "that is easy and can be sooo cheap and FUN, and he would love it" but i need ideas of CHEAP stuff to send. it is not like when i used to send them to John, he NEEDED things, Ben is spoiled by his mom, he needs nothing.

i am sending him letters and mix CD's but what else?

Your friend has some good points. But, I know him being away still stinks. I've done the long distance thing in college and it's not fun sometimes, but hang in there

Umm..care package ideas...what does he like? Does he like video games or certain magazines? Any candy or books?

I think candy or some type of food that will hold up well..I know friends that have sent beef jerky. Magazines are a good idea.

i suppose i can send him candy and such.
the thing that sucks is he is SPOILED.
he and his parents buy him anything he wants the second it comes out.
but he isnt bratty, he just can get what he wants, so why wouldnt he?

my roommate suggested baking him cookies, but again, his mom bakes for him every minute. she is obsessed with her boys. (it is kind of absurd)

The mixed cds, a photo scrapbook, letter, hand made cards... those are good ideas!

hershey kisses, Maybe some "love" coupons (you can find them in adult bookstores usually (the classier kind) and like fredricks etc or you could make your own. Spray em with your perfume, pictures of you or the both of you, write him some poems with lipstick kisses and perfume, ummm lots of little crafts you could do that were hand made by you to be more special etc
