Cut Off Date For Xmas Packages

anyone know this cut off date??? Im trying to plan his xmas box contents for my paychecks and Im trying to figure out when I have to have it sent by in order to make it to him in time. DB said November 11th but this isn't right is it?

No, that's definitely not right. How long does your mail usually take to get to him? K's in Afghanistan and it usually takes 2 1/2 weeks. I would say mail it out by the first week of December.

USPS should post the dates soon, like the next week or so. Usually its around the end of November, from what Ive read on their website.

Mail in the holidays gets seriously seriously backed up so I wouldn't be to surprised if that was the date. It can take 3 times as long for things to get there. The post office every year comes out with a list though. I am not sure if its up yet or not. It will have APO/FPO on it though.

He's in Germany for now and it only takes a week at most. When he deploys to Iraq I dont know how long it will take, maybe 3 weeks he said--plus with all the holiday shipping coming in it could take even longer.

This may sound stupid but are the parcel posts the flat rate boxes ones? Because if so then Nov. 13th is the due date (I cant believe it would take over a month to get it there on time).

i was wondering the same thing..i think the flat rate boxes are priority mail (because of the little priority mail symbol on every box), right? so december 4th?

I know the post office here (in Kuwait) just issued an FYI saying that if you are ordering anything for Christmas make sure you order it by mid-late nov. or its not getting here in time...

If it were me, I would make sure its out by mid-late nov. just to be sure
