So upset and angry (IMG included) *UPDATED POST 29* - Care Packages

I am so incredibly upset. Major care package disasters/dissapointments. I've been holding my frustration in for like, 3 weeks because i felt that this was such a petty matter to be so emotional about. However, I just need to get it out and VENT.

DB has been gone for about 2 months now, and over the past several weeks, I sent him 4 care packages and 6 sets of letters. DB got the first package merely a week after I mailed it... oh my gosh, he was so happy and excited (I remember how DB called me right after he got it and said to me, 'Babe! This is like Christmas morning, except better!)

After I sent out the second package... we waitd and waited, and after a month he still had not gotten it. Meanwhile, I continued to send letters and mailed two more packages. The last time I talked to DB was 5 days ago and of course, I asked about the letters/packages... nope nothing. I don't know when I will hear from him again but maybe all the letters/packages have gotten there by then.

I hope that ya'll ladies understand my frustrations... I send DB packages/letters with not just 'material' things, I put so much love and care and my heart into those, so that when DB gets them, it's like he is opening up a box full of my love. Yeah that sounds really cheesy but I don't know how else to say it. I feel so sad... it's as if pieces of my heart are lost; I feel angry becase my heart is only for DB and not meant to be floating around in back of some USPS delivery truck in the middle of nowhere!!!!!!

And I am done with my Halloween CP, planning on sending it tomorrow... I just feel so sad even looking at it, since it seems like all of my care packages and letters are cursed or something!

Pictures of the packages I have sent DB so far. The one that he got is the one in the first photo (pink package on the left side). Other ones are MIA...

depending on where he is, they could be having mail issues and stuff is just sitting right now. Kinda like how sometimes they shut down communication, sometimes they stop mail if they have had issues or something like that... It would be odd that so many get lost so im not thinking they are really lost...

Hopefully he will get them all at once so it will really be like Christmas!

Aww... I'd be pretty upset too! Maybe you should hold off on sending the next one and have him ask if their mailing address has changed?

But I know how you feel. My anniversary card to DH is lost in the mail someplace.

i know how frustrating that would be! i would just double check the address and make sure it hasnt changed or anything.

I am sorry you are having such trouble with them. I know when my bestfriend was gone I sent him TONS of care packages and he would get one then go over 7 weeks from when i sent it and get like 4 at once. So maybe he will have a really BIG group to pick up one day. I hope they all get there soon! I can understand and relate to the frustration. I even had one come back at one point and that was really irritating! Sorry

First I must say that they look great! They really are a box full of your love! How much time did you spend on each one? I'm in Germany right now, and even here it is taking much longer to get a package than it was. I have heard that the APO distribution center in NJ is backed up. Don't know anything for sure though...
