    forgetting that the boxes are not as big as we think? I keep thinking the box is SO much bigger and tend to go over board. I thought i was going to be smart this time yea right i ended up making 3 boxes when i originally had set out to make 1

    Yes They are so small, thats why i am going to end up sending one once a month, theres soooo much i want to send, lol.

    i just stockpile it all and let it roll over. i only buy stuff that's on sale or in bulk, so i always have a big ole pile of "stuff to go in future care packs." i know it'll get to him eventually!

    I've done that the last 3 times. But I just save what didn't fit in the box and put it in another one and send it the next week.

    i like the themed boxes. i had a box set up for each month he's gone. everything all organized and what is go in the box and i get off track and do something completely different. i just need to learn to follow what i have on paper

    Yep, I have done this. I just packed his next box with everything that was left over from all the others that I have sent so far

    Oh my gosh yes. I do care packages every pay check and I always set out to do one or two but end up sending out three or four hahaha. This last time I somehow ended up with freaking SIX lol. But I had a lot of bigger items I was sending him so that's why. He never complains though =)

    Yup, I always set out to make one and then end up with a box full of extras for the next one..which I usually just send out later that week. They are never big enough. I decided to attempt to send some lighter items in a bit bigger of a box instead of the APO flat rates...cost me 35 bucks! Stickin with the small boxes, its good tho because they do only have so much room for everything.
