    so DB just left for his first base after USAFA graduation about a week ago, and finally has his first "home" but is kinda bummed out and still not really settled in, his things are scattered across the country in the move still....so I wanted to send him a "cheer up and settle in" kinda package so let's have 'em ladies......IDEAS! TIA for all your help

    Does he have all the basic stuff ? (ex: Toilet paper, towels, bedding, etc )

    he has bedding, and a couple towels from the dorm room at the Academy but some nice stuff would be a great idea for a good start....and I'm thinking like travel sizes of "cheer" laundry detergent and lucky charms, he loves gummy candies so I was gonna send some of the gummy smiles.....

    i like the idea of a survival kit...like put in all kinds of things that you like that will remind him of you and give him things to do.

    how about things like candles/air fresheners or maybe little key hooks for the doorway? try searching "housewarming gifts" and you might get some nice ideas!

    Snacks are always welcome. Sometimes the guys don't feel like going to chow or they get sick of it.

    Yes, this is a big one. DB is always hungry and never has anything to eat in his dorm.
