    Help I sent out DH's first package today...just one problem!

    I forgot to put the base where he is....of course i forget i get home to call the post office and he says its already left..i ask him if he think it will still get there with just my dh's name, unit, apo and code and he says yes....i really hope so. i am so frazzled!!!! anyone else ever done this?

    It should get there just fine. I never put where DH is and all of his packages have made it.

    and to boot the whole process of sending it was like buying a freaking house. the guy wanted me to specifically write down everything in the box in detail,i was like are you kidding me?lol

    thank you! i feel much less frazzled now! if it got returned and i had to do my box all over again i was going to be very upset,lol.

    Well technically you are supposed to be very specific on the customs forms, but of course most people aren't...

    And you should not have to put the base, the only thing I put on DF's address is his name, rank, APO address, and unit...

    Hell, I don't even know what base DH is at when is deployed so it's irrelevant as long as you put the address there is no need for the base

    I always put the FOB and the APO address on anything I sent. It was part of the address that I was given, so I put it on there. So...

    yeah, i have never put the base... i just put his unit on there, i think you should be fine.

    and i'm a slacker with the customs forms. sorry they were sticklers!

    yeah thats all that is on there so fingers crossed! i picked up a bunch of the customs forms on the way out of there so i can just fill them out at home since it will take me 20 minutes to do it,lol
