once a month when DH is deployed. I know people that send one like once a week, but that just gets too expensive for me and I run out of things to send

thats what i was thinking...that it would get too expensive. especially since we are trying to save as much as possible while he is gone.

I sent 3 already, but my goal is once a month. I didn't send one this month because I can't afford to, but other than that, I've been doing once a month.

    be cool.

He gets one roughly every 3 weeks. Sometimes he gets extra ones if there is something he really needs. Like the box-o-hangars I sent a few weeks ago.

I've been sending them once a month. DB will usually request home-baked goods, or something he can't find at the PX over there. Then, I'll send those items along with pictures and a hand-written card. He brought a lot of stuff with him, and I know he doesn't want a lot of extra stuff in limited space, so for us, sending them any more than that would be a little much. Plus, I just run out of ideas.

Used to do every month, stopped when he was being naughty, now I am not allowed to send mail any more!
    Keep on keeping on.
