    customs form question

    Advertisements
I have never in my life had to fill one out. It says to make a detailed list of what is in the box. If I were to throw lingerie into his care package would I have to include it on the customs form? I will be visiting him early next month and wanted to make him more anxious than he already is, but I have no idea how to include it in the list!

You don't really have to be that detailed when filling them out. Just list it as "Clothing"

    be cool.

thank you. Wasn't sure because as the example it said instead of saying "shirt" your should put down "mens white shirt" or something like that.

I've been putting snacks and candy as the most detailed things on the list, if you want to get specific put underwear.

Don't ever put any form of detail as far as what's in the box. Don't even put how much its really all worth. Every box I Send I put something like "snacks, magazines, cards" and thats all I put. Get specific and people are prone to steal.

Good point! I never thought of that...I will have to be more conscience of what I put down. I do like "clothing" tho for lingerie. Very Clever!

yeah i was never very clear on the customs forms, I always just put food and magazines. I always put the package was only worth $2.50 since thats what they lady at the post office told me to put because they dont like it when you put a dollar for the value.

There is never enough room so I just fill out the few things which are usually the cheapest like everyone else said, magazines, clothes, snacks etc. You can BS it, there isnt much that its used for. I even put otter pops on there one time and it never got sent back, but I wouldnt recommend that because they are liquids...it was an error on my part that I was thankful didnt backfire.

You can be general and list is as clothing or don't declare it, but you don't have to be super detailed on those forms.
