Help My First Care Package Attempt...

    Advertisements
Well, I finally got DB's address & some idea of what I could send him. Now I only have one problem... All of this stuff won't fit in one box. As a matter of fact, it barely fits in two boxes. I'm thinking of breaking it up and sending part now and part of it in a few weeks. I'm planning on sending it out by Tuesday or Wednesday. So what do you girls think? Is there anything I could add or take out (stuff that won't send well)? I'd appreciate your help.
I've also got a couple of letters, a mix CD, and a card that's going in with all this stuff.

I always just buy alot at a time cause its usually on sale and then split it up evenly and send multiple boxes...flat rate boxes are tiny though.

    Looks great too!

I did the kool-aig singles too. Easy fitter -- take them out of the box and throw them in loosely. Same thing with the crackers. I had the same problem with DB's first package.

I agree-- its okay to take stuff out of the boxes! I always do that with Justin's fruit snacks and stuff, that way everything is packed tightly, and I can get it all in there.

Also... the first package I sent Justin a couple of fun toy things, and he said "Babe, I LOVE it... but I don't have a place to store it!" So we created the "If you can't use it or eat it, don't send it" rule.

    I think it looks great!!!

I agree.. break it up. I buy things @ bulk and keep them until it's time to send another box.

I didn't know they made single serving velveeta cheese & shells! SO will LOVE that.

It looks awesome. I'd break it up and send it a week or two apart.

I'd split all the stuff up and send some later. I end up saving a lot of money that way. I tend to go overboard when shopping for stuff and can never fit it all in one box.
