    hmm...
of course hygenic things (wipies, deo, floss, lotion, chapstick, etc)
fave TV show series/movies (if he has easy access to a laptop)
fave snack (beef jerky, granola bars, etc)
    pics
i sent DF a disposable camera and he filled it up and sent it back to me
DF also loves those drink pack things that you pour in water bottles, just recently i found Kool Aid ones and sent them to him in Korea.

erm... i guess each box differes depending on the soldier once you get past the hygenic needs.

i hope i've helped even if it was just to bump the thread
When posting please keep OPSEC and PERSEC in mind.
When it gets tough, cause it will, all you can do is get on your knees, pray and love the hell outta your soldier

Like someone mentioned do a 4th of July box. You could try a theme out of something he really likes, like a movie night box (with all the good stuff you need for a good movie night -- candy, popcorn, movies) or a sports box or something. DB loves Mexican food, actually he LOVES nachos haha. So I did the box just with that theme, chips, salsa, those cans of cheese and beans, a movie and some novelties to go with. Take advantage of every holiday. You could do something just summer themed. I would also send silly cards or funny pez dispensers that made me smile. And I always take hints from the dollar section at target I did a sexy box for Valentines day (although I'm sure it would go over well any time of year) And I know it was a big hit for him

Have some fun with it and know that he's loving getting anything from you.

Life's a rollercoaster and I am not strapped in. Maybe I should hold with care but my hands are busy in the air saying I wish you were here

Bed Bath and Beyond sells a portable fan. Unfortantely it is a tad bit bigger then the flat rate box. Your card can say...I'm your biggest fan. How corny is that?

I think that would be pretty easy. They make pre-made pizza crusts that are sold near the bread aisle in the grocery store, get a jar of pizza sauce and some of that cheese that you can get with summer sausages that doesn't have to be refrigerated. Send a small cheese grater and there you have pizza. This assumes they have a method of cooking it.
