    Healthy snacks

    Advertisements
Ok some of Jake's COs have started to get on him about his weight. Personally I don't see the problem...he weighs just what he did when he left and they had no problem here but that's another story.
I am looking for snack foods that I can send him (in Kuwait) that are healthier than piles of chips and cookies. He like dried fruit so I send that. Any other suggestions??

    TIA!

the 100 calorie packs are good. and granola bars. You could send those travel packs of water flavoring.. Like cryatal light or something.

    Fruit snacks
    Nuts
    Granola Bars
    Power Bars
100 Calorie packs (just not the twinkies and cakey items...I can eat a whole box and that defeats the purpose)
Sugarless Gum or hard candies to help the cravings

It's SUPER high in sodium, which will make him retain water like no one's business. I'd personally stay away from anything with a high sodium content. With the amount of water they are drinking a day, he'll actually gain weight if his sodium spikes.

It won't be fat, but he'll be puffy and still fail the tape on top of the weigh in.

How about those little fruit cups? Nuts ... granola bars ... they make just about everything in the 100 calorie packs so I'm sure you could find some of his favorites.
