How long does it take to deliver? - Care Packages

I mailed my husband a care package on May 28th. It has been a little bit over two weeks now and he hasn't received it yet. I included the dvd player in that carepackage too so I am kinda worried that it might get lost or stolen. Should I be worry? I don't really know how long it usually takes to get there..I heard about two weeks though. By the way, he is on the carrier. Any inputs would be great!! Thanks

I wouldn't worry too much. Give it another week or two. Dh's packages never arrive on any kind of schedule, they just sort of show up when they do.

One time it took just a letter a month to get there. Other times it just takes two weeks. Mail sucks sometimes. Dont worry about it just yet!

Dependding on wwhere he is, it could take up to 6 weeks, maybe even longer

I know that it could take longer than two weeks. I read a thread about not to write "electronic stuff" on the custom form which is what I did. I did write "dvd player" on there. I just hope that no one would take it. Thanks again ladies for the input.

I always mail anything with electronics in it insured because things do "disappear" en route. Since it hasn't been a month yet I would give it more time, hopefully it's still in transit.

Did you insure it? I just sent dh a $250 mp3 player and I labeled it what it was and declared it for as much and insured it and it made it to him a-ok. I am sure it will make it to him.

Yes, I insured it. The lady at the post office also gave me the confirmation number that I can track the package. I went on the website and all it showed is the date that I sent it.

one package took a week and this last one took 3 1/2 weeks..it really varies...the [ost office lady said that it takes longer to get to afghanistan thenit does to Iraq though
