care packages... - Care Packages

so i'm kind of new at this (this is my sailor's first deployment), what are some good things to send in a care package?
he's on a ship in the persian gulf (well on his way there).
any ideas?

I just sent DH one..I put in a few bags of halloween candy that was on sale, magazines (car and driver, A computer one, paintball, and the new stephen colbert book) also made some CD's and a card with my perfume and a lipstick kiss

I just sent one on tuesday too...

Couple of good movies 4 mixed cds of his favorite music! the book absurdistan that we're going to read together! homemade chocolate chip cookies and chocolate fudge chip cookies...soft lips chap stick with spf (he requested it the sun isnt doing very well for him)...gatorade powder mix...pictures!!!!...and of course a long letter for him OH and I took a red a white and a blue baloon and blew them up but DIDNT tie them I took different colored sharpie markers and wrote little messeges on them...then i deflated them its such a cute little personalized gift that they have to blow up to see whats written on it

I live for making care packages these days...I feel a little gooberish but oh well!!! I know it makes us both happy
