please remind me - Care Packages

I know someone already mentioned how to keep cookies fresh when sending them in a care package, but I can't seem to find that post again. Please remind me... something about bread???

yeah i think you put a peice of bread in a plastic baggie with the cookies, because the bread absorbs the moisture, or it gives out moisture? i don't remember either, but i know the bread thing is right!

I just wrapped mine in foil (a couple cookies at a time), and put the foil wrapped cookies in a zip-loc. And then put the baggies in a plastic container. DB said they got there and were completely fresh. So I guess that works lol.

i got the cookies and basically put them in a plastic container with a paper towell making sure that the paper towell kept the cookies from touching all the sides of the plastic container. DH said they got there great.
