sending first care package in the next week or so... what should i put into it? be creative!!! because im not

not original, but PHOTOS!!!

cookies, or food products.

Record your voice on to "voice recorder" on windows and burn it to a CD and send that to him. So he'll have something of your voice to listen to at night.

Go to build a bear and make 2 matching bears, take a photo of the two of them together. Then mail him one with your voice in it and then keep the other one to sleep with while you miss him

That's about the extent of my ideas for tonight.

ya im putting together my first box to send off soon as well... i dont know if ill do this for the first one or just one later..but im going to do a "favorites" package. Put all of his favorite things (or things that remind him of them) in there. For example im gonna put: his fav candy, a boook about his new hobby, his fav soda (if i can figure out if thats ok), a dvd of his favorite show, a little mini version of his car...things like that. ill probably also include pictures since he asked me to send some, some healthy snacks, and a few halloween things

send him something that smells like you. I sent DB a nerf gun and he wouldn't shut up about how cool it was. Also, the dollar store has some great ideas! I always tell people to go to this site, it has a great list of things to send...http://operationmilitarypride.org/

This sounds really really weird. But get a new pillowcase, and go to bed with your hair still damp from shampooing it. After 2 or 3 days, it will smell just like you. And if your SO always liked to bury his nose in your hair. He can have that with him at night. Just make sure you seal it in a ziplock bag.

I used to work for Build A Bear. You can get a voice recorder PUT INTO the bear. Its $8 I believe and records up to 10 seconds. Great for if you want to send a baby's heartbeat, if you are pregnant. You can buy the recorder, take it to your doctor's visit then bring it back when you make your bear.

Also, if you don't have a build a bear near you. You can go to www.Buildabear.com and order the bear from there. (there is also a better selection online) they will have you make wishes and give the heart a kiss. And stuff the bear in warehouse including the "Heart ceremony". Then they can ship it to you. If you want, you can order the build-a-sound from the online store, and the bear. And I can tell you how to access the sewn seam to put it in properly and to sew it back up where you can't tell it had an "operation"

I seriously think the Build a Bear idea is the best, because you can always add to it. Like a Christmas outfit, a halloween costume, BDUs, all that.
