Pancake breakfast for one person (IMG)
Okay so my main goal this deployment has been trying to cook normal meals for ONE person. On the weekends I LOVE to cook myself breakfast.
So heres what I made chocolate chip pancakes w/ bacon for one! 1/2 cup of bisquick 1/4 cup milk HALF of a beaten egg. mix well and add chocolate chips. 2 peices of low sodium bacon Makes 2-3 pancakes depending on the size you make them ![]() BTW- I will be starting a blog soon about recipes for the military spouse who is alone when their husbands are deployed. My biggest challege this deployment is about not wasting food and not OVER cooking. Keep a eye out

I always make my pancakes with just bisquick mix and water.
They turn out so good.

You could have made enough to use the whole egg and just saved the rest of the batter for the next day. Or reheated the cooked pancakes the next day. I hate to waste food!
