Bread Machine and Bread Flour

Do you have to use bread flour in the bread machine? I just got one last week and the bread flour is 4.99 a bag.....thats kind of expensive I thought. So I wondered if you have to use that or can you use normal flour?

bread flour has more gluten then regular flour so it helps make the bread taste better. but in a pinch regular flour should work.

Oh ok thank you, I wondered if there was something different about it, or just some way to make extra money, marketing another brand lol.

you will notice a difference in the bread. You don't have to get bread machine flour bread flour is just fine. When i had my bread machine I noticed a difference in the bread and the ones made with bread flour tasted different.
