Itís almost 3am here and i woke up feeling hungry. I have some mushrooms in the fridge, I think im going to make mushroom pasta with garlic butter sauce. Might add a dash of soy sauce to make it extra tasty. What is your to go meal when you have that midnight craving?

Anything I can find that won’t wake anyone else in the house up.

DH: Thank you. ME: For what, babe? DH: For being you.

Oh my gosh! Indomie goreng was a staple for me back in uni. Add some bokchoy, sliced Birdseye chillies and sunny side up egg and you’ll get a perfect snack for study at night. Lol I prefer koka now, because they don’t use msg. it’s a brand from Singapore.

That’s more or less how I do it. An egg, a handful of peas, a touch more hot sauce...this is good times. I could cook better myself if I truly wanted to (I cook for a living, of course I can do better!) but sometimes I just want to eat like shit. Delicious msg-laden garbage...

I knooww, right? I need that spicy noodle now, studying for my citizenship test. Sooo many things to remember. Fun fact: the opal is australian national stone. In Aboriginal legend, a rainbow touched the earth and created the colour of the opal. My ex bought a necklace and earrings set when he went to Darwin for training with ADF. Very pretty

    An egg.

    Or leftover pizza.
