    weird hypothetical

So I have a possible opportunity to do an externship in Geneva at the U.N over the summer. I'd be taking 3 classes in international law and human rights at the university there in the morning and then working in the U.N in the afternoons. I'm given two housing options. One is in the heart of the city, it's near all the shops, restaurants, etc. but it's a 20 minute train ride to the university. The other is on campus, it's a short walk to where classes are held, but then it's a 20 minute ride into the city. I'd be there for about a month.

I think it'd be really cool to be in the city, but I'm a little nervous about the train because I don't want to miss class or be late because of whatever reason. But, my days will be spent in class and at the U.N. so it's not like I'll have the time to just walk around and explore all the time. The housing on campus seems really convenient. They're the same price too. And both offer studio options so I wouldn't have to room with anyone if I decide I don't want to (I don't want to )

    which would you choose?

if you want, you can look at the pictures/descriptions of the choices. Just scroll down to housing.

I've never been there so take this for what it is I would choose the student housing, you'd be able to walk every day and only have to deal with the train on your personal time when you're not on someone else's timetable. You also wouldn't have to take a train every day in student housing which I would imagine could get old.

Either way, that's a SUPER cool opportunity and I'm way jealous!

I’d go on campus too. Also this is super random but you’re going to law school really close to where I live

I would live in the city to fully get the experience but I don't think the student housing is a bad choice! You can wander to the city anytime you want.

If your priority would be the externship/work experience, I'd say pick the student housing!

I'd probably do the student housing also. Whenever you have free time you can always just jump on the train and go into the city, but you won't have to worry about being late for classes.

    2. You will be with other students
